Introduction
Crater Lake National Park is an American national park located in southern Oregon. Established in 1902, Crater Lake is the fifth-oldest national park in the United States and the only national park in Oregon. The park encompasses the caldera of Crater Lake, a remnant of a destroyed volcano, Mount Mazama, and the surrounding hills and forests.

Rim Drive: Rim Drive is a scenic highway in Crater Lake National Park in southern Oregon, United States. It is a 33-mile loop that follows the caldera rim around Crater Lake. Due to its unique engineering and the surrounding park landscape, the drive was listed as a historic district on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.
Phantom Ship: Phantom Ship is a small island in Crater Lake in the U.S. state of Oregon. It is a natural rock formation pillar which derives its name from its resemblance to a ghost ship, especially in foggy and low-light conditions.
Tips
1. Don't forget to fill up your tank before leaving. There are no gas stations for miles around, which meant some nail-biting moments for us. So please go in with a full tank. The nearest gas stations are 35 miles away in the towns of Chiloquin and Prospect.
2. Like fuel you will not find many places to eat within the park, except for a few cafes at the accommodation places. My suggestion is to bring food with you for a picnic lunch. After all, you have the best views in the world.
3. Winter rules Crater Lake National Park. Seasonal roads can be closed in mid-October through to June. So visit their website to get more precise information.
