Introduction
Arches National Park is a national park in eastern Utah, United States. The park is adjacent to the Colorado River, 4 miles (6 km) north of Moab, Utah. Balanced Rock is located next to the park's main road, at about 9.2 miles from the park entrance. It is one of only a few prominent features clearly visible from the road.
Tips
1. The best time to see Delicate Arch without the crowds is early in the morning, just past sunrise. If you want the chance to have Delicate Arch to yourself (or just share the experience with a handful of people) it’s worth rolling out of bed early and heading right to Delicate Arch.
2. The climate of arches national park is one of very hot summers, cold winters and very little rainfall. Even on a daily basis, temperatures may fluctuate as much as 50 degrees. Bring water and wear sunscreen and a hat.
3. If you arrives the national park in the afternoon, go beyond Delicate Arch and save it for last - its colors are most stunning at sunset.
